One of the biggest ‘tools’ I use next to Nzymes, in about 95% of my cases, is colloidal silver.
Many people know ‘what’ it is, but many do not. I can tell you, that I think it is AMAZING!!! I don’t know if many of the cases I’ve used it in would have turned out the way they did had I not used it.
When I was a child, at Grandma and Grampa’s house, if any of us kids were sick, had been bitten by a wasp/bee/mosquitoes, or had a ‘boo boo’, Grandma used to go and get her ‘brown glass’ bottle out. Of course, I didn’t know then what it was, but whatever was in that bottle, always fixed us right up. It wasn’t until within the last year, that I realized, THAT stuff had been colloidal silver!!! So, that got me to thinking. Grandma and Grampa, and even Great Grandma and Grampa didn’t have all the diseases and sicknesses we have today! They weren’t ill like people are in today’s world. But ALL they had back then, was their gardens and barns, eating ‘live’ nutrition, and the natural antibiotic properties of colloidal silver! Mother Nature.
What is Colloidal Silver?
Colloidal Silver is a completely natural, liquid mineral supplement found in almost every health food store in North America. It is much like mineral water, except that in this case, the only minerals in the water are tiny, sub-microscopic particles of pure silver. Pure silver, by itself, has been known for thousands of years to have powerful, “broad-spectrum infection-fighting qualities”. This is just a snippet of what the article called A Colloidal Silver Primer, written by The Silver Edge, speaks about.
First, it works as a catalyst, disabling the enzyme that one-celled bacteria, fungi, and viruses use for respiration and metabolism. Secondly, much like iron, it is a powerful carrier of oxygen. When colloidal silver comes into contact with an infectious microbe, it releases an oxygen “burst” which kills the pathogen.
Colloidal silver fights infectious pathogens of various types, known and unknown, that contribute to auto-immune disorders, thereby helping to end chronic infections. Colloidal silver will, if used over a sufficient period of time, destroy most chronic infections which go along with virtually all cases of auto-immune disorders. It also has a calming effect on auto-immune reactions.
So WHY do I use Colloidal Silver?
My Journey with colloidal silver began in October of 2014. I received a ‘Forever Foster’ dog named Bohdi. Bohdi was a border collie who’d been deemed by 3 vets the worst case they’d ever seen. ‘No Hope’ for this dog. He had been found in a ditch here in rural Manitoba. He was emaciated and covered in burrs and ticks. Upon a veterinary examination, it was determined he was suffering from congestive heart failure due to cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart, right side not functioning at all). And then, on top of that, he also suffered with stage 4 (very strong) Lyme disease. He was given days to weeks tops. He arrived to us in palliative care.

The true reason why I pushed to have Bohdi retested for Lyme at 3 months, is because I’d added up what I’d spent on colloidal silver. It came to $1000. That’s insane!!! (At that point I had no idea I could make it myself.) But, I needed to know what effect the colloidal silver and Nzymes had made on his deadly high level of Lyme. I made an appointment to have him re-tested, even though the vets told me it was ‘too soon’ and that he would still show positive or false positive.
Having learned that colloidal silver destroys all one-celled organisms, including Lyme disease, I knew then that it was something my dogs would get, every day, going forward. We live at the lake all summer, and it gave me an ‘assurance’. IF my dogs were to get bitten by a Lyme disease-carrying tick, I knew the disease wouldn’t stand a chance as it would be destroyed before it even got a chance to take hold!
By 3 months, Bohdi’s Lyme was 100% GONE!!! Unheard of to the vets, yet we had the previous and current blood work results to prove it!
Shortly after Bohdi’s appointment, I found out I could make colloidal silver myself. And that’s when another leg of my Journey began. I had NO idea how useful that silver would become.
I’ve become the type of person that I have to have the “best of the best”. And I don’t mean that to sound cocky in the least, it’s just that I’m tired of wasting my money! For example, I always wanted a Dyson vacuum. But my husband said, “No way are we spending $800 on a vacuum!!” So instead, we spent over $2000 on other brands of garbage vacuums over the next few years. Now? I own 4 Dyson vacuums, and my husband doesn’t say boo. ? That’s why when it came to wanting to make my own silver, I wanted the best of the best.
I love to play ‘Matlock’. Investigating, finding out the truths. I turn things inside out to find out everything I can. I often times find myself in a ‘choose my own adventure’ quest when doing so. When it came to purchasing a generator to make colloidal silver myself, it was hands down, going to come from a company called The Silver Edge.
When it comes to colloidal silver, I have definitely done my ‘homework’. I’ve read too many numerous articles and studies to count. What I came across often, was that to truly utilize the benefits of colloidal silver, one should also consume a whole food source also. This is EXACTLY what Nzymes are!!! So I
knew, I had a perfect ‘team’ with these two together! And, I have been using colloidal silver now for over 7 years, and have seen tremendous results in every case I’ve used it in. The way that I see it, the Nzymes and colloidal silver are a definite MUST when looking for answers for our pet’s health concerns.
The range of ‘what’ colloidal silver can be used for is extensive – whether inside or outside of the body.
When working with allergies, autoimmune diseases, colloidal silver helps boost the immune system. And because it also is known to destroy hundreds of known disease-causing viruses, bacteria, and fungi (within 6 minutes), adding it to a daily regimen has extreme benefits. And again, it can be taken internally (directly into pet food) and also externally (skin irritations and sores). Mist/spray bottles are a great addition to have also, as it allows you to apply it topically to the animal. Spraying the pet’s bed/sleeping area not only destroys anything on the surface but also deodorizes. And, when the animal lies down, that treated surface is going to be next to their skin, for comfort and safety.
Since I now make my own, I’ve been able to completely bathe dogs with colloidal silver. Soaking the dog’s body with it, applying a shampoo, such as Nzymes Healthy Skin shampoo and then rinsing with colloidal silver also, will bring a level of cleanliness and assurance that the bacteria on the skin is destroyed.
This was something I had to do quite often in the case of Gunther, as his skin was covered in bleeding/oozing sores and scabs. Nothing I seemed to do would seem to give him any relief until I started fully bathing him with CS.
For paralysis immobility cases, there are great benefits for using colloidal silver also. Why? Since many of the issues causing the immobilities are degenerative (meaning things will continue to deteriorate), it would be wise to expect that more paralysis incidents can occur. This was something I found out with my own dog Bella, who was diagnosed with Inter-Vertebral Disc Disease, (IVDD) and endured two paralysis incidents within a two-year period. The vets had told us that this would keep on recurring, as the degeneration of the spine/discs would only get worse over time. I’ve seen this to be very true, as I’ve had cases come my way in which the dog was now up to their fourth paralysis! Whether it be IVDD, Degenerative Disc Disease, Degenerative Myelopathy, or any other such degenerative issue, what causes these, is deterioration of the myelin sheath.
The myelin sheath is an insulating layer that forms around nerves, in the spinal cord, brain and optic nerves. It consists of fatty substances and protein-often called ‘white matter’. This sheath, then allows electrical impulses to quickly transmit very efficiently along the nerve cells. Damage to the sheath is usually caused by inflammation.
Colloidal silver is capable of repairing the myelin sheath. Therefore when dealing with such degenerative diseases/conditions, I always use CS.
What I have found, is that dogs with these conditions can improve even further! With implementing such ‘tools’, aiding the body in its repair and recovery challenges, my experience shows that it seems to have ability to slow these conditions from advancing! In the case of my own dog Bella, I’ve seen tremendous improvements and her body always seems to be bounce back from strenuous activity. The same applies to other dogs who have been through the same. I also have a second IVDD dog, a Dachshund who came to me over two years ago, with a year old paralysis, also due to IVDD. He was the first dog I put fully on the ‘paralysis/immobility regimen’ including the colloidal silver. Beanut has been basically 100% since after two weeks of being on this regimen, and has also never had any real setbacks or subsequent back issues, for over 4 years now.
So, having been involved with well over 500 dogs now using this combination, seeing that nothing has gone backwards, and knowing that the ONE thing that has changed was adding the colloidal silver, leads me to believe that we CAN put a goalie in place for stopping the furthering of these degenerative conditions!!! If we can impart a positive effect on the health of the myelin sheath, which degradation is the culprit behind these issues, then I think we have very good chances in rehabilitating these fur babies and have peace of mind that we are doing all we can for them!?
Today, I use colloidal silver for so much. Not just for ourselves or the animals, but also in my home. I use it to shampoo my carpets, (only using CS and no water) washing my floors, dishwasher rinse aid, and for all household cleaning tasks. I have aerosol mist spray bottles full of CS, and I’ll go around and spray doorknobs, cupboard handles, remotes, telephones, light switches, water faucets etc. Pretty much anything we touch gets a mist of colloidal silver. I love knowing that it is a true ‘clean’. Even body lotions and face creams, I add it in.
For food, things such as leftovers, or milk, or my raw food I feed the dogs, all of these also get colloidal silver in or on them. We have had a gallon jug of milk still be fresh like brand new two months later, simply by having added two ounces of colloidal silver into it after we opened it.
Deodorizing, cleaning up pet messes, even skunk spray, all are no challenge when using colloidal silver!!! The uses for it are just incredible!
But, colloidal silver can become very costly. While it is easily accessible online or at a health food store, if using it long term, or daily as we do, before you know it, you will also have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars. This is not necessary. For a fraction of the cost, you can make it yourself with your own generator.
As I stated earlier, I have my own generator. That generator, by the time it was all said and done, with exchange (I’m in Canada) and taxes and duties, it cost me $325. In the US, it’s about $270 all in. (After discount-see below) But, the first gallon I made, paid for itself. Had I ‘bought’ a gallon of colloidal silver, it would have cost me just over $1200!!! Yet, all you need to make it yourself is distilled water. A gallon jug of distilled water costs about $2.00. The electricity it uses is equivalent to an LED Christmas light bulb. So that gallon of CS, costs me maybe, $2.10!

It makes the colloidal silver in micro-particle size, which allows it to be absorbed into the body much faster. (Store-bought silver, isn’t micro-particle size).
