My Bella, her IVDD & Paralysis, and Her Recovery.
I’ll begin by telling you about myself, and how I came across NZYMES®, what they are, and where it’s all lead to. I believe everything happens for a reason, and when our ‘path’ is laid before us, it is an incredible journey to follow. ?
It started on December 1, 2012 when my one dog Bella, suffered a paralysis. We found out she had IVDD, and that there was really no hope, unless we wanted to do surgery, which meant sending her to Saskatchewan , or Minnesota (I am in Manitoba) and $4000 to start with. No guarantee. We couldn’t justify spending that amount of money, not knowing if it would even help Bella.
‘Do the right thing Brenda’, ‘Don’t make her suffer’, ‘You know what you have to do’ is what everyone was telling me. Yet, even the vet’s recommendation of possibly putting her to sleep, just didn’t ‘sit’ right with me? I felt there was something more. I was ‘missing’ something. But I knew, I couldn’t put her down.
During the night of her second night at the vet, I was home, with the 3 kids, while my husband Darryl worked. He was on call at the time, (works for Hydro). I felt very alone. Scared, confused and didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I went outside with our other one dog at the time, Niko. Middle of the night. I wasn’t sleeping. Eating. Nothing. I was just in ‘fear’ feeling mode the entire time. Being outside, alone with Niko, I looked up at the stars and said ‘Show me the way. Show me the way because I don’t know what I’m supposed to do!!’ I went back inside the house, grabbed my IPad, opened up the Internet, and there before me was www.nzymes.com open, to the paralysis page. As if right? For real?! I hadn’t searched for anything, hadn’t done a thing. ‘Show me the way’. I then started reading, watching, listening to the testimonies of people about their paralyzed dogs and cried. Could this be true??? Could these NZYMES® really help my Bella? Was THIS what I was looking for? I knew I had to try.
I ordered products, and excitedly waited to my husband Darryl to come home and show and tell him what I’d found. I told him ‘Don’t be mad, I spent $150 on this stuff’. He just looked at me, patted my arm, and said ‘There, there dear. You have a big heart. But mark my words, that dog will never walk again’. I didn’t care. I had Hope. I hadn’t stopped Believing.
The vets had allowed me to bring Bella home after 36 hours, IF I agreed to kennel rest her for 6-8 weeks. Sure. I’ll agree to anything. I will have my dog at home, and she’s alive. Plus, they had no idea what I had coming, and I had never heard of NZYMES.
We took Bella to a natural healing vet the next day. Learnt some therapy tips, and did acupuncture and laser therapy. Day 5 after her injury, we received the NZYMES®. Nine days later is when she started taking her first steps. It was unbelievable! Nobody believed me. I had to take her back to the vets, friends houses, to show them that she WAS walking again. It was a true miracle. And she just kept getting better and better!!! By the time 6 weeks came, that we could’ve let her out of ‘kennel rest’, she was running and playing and doing stairs. Imagine if we’d kept her confined!? Giving her the simplicity of an ‘alive’ nutrition source changed it all!!!
A dog whom many thought would never walk again, proved them all wrong.

About the VIDEO History Provided Here
One of my supporting Video’s, on Bella and her paralysis recovery is provided here, while another is on the actual NZYMES.COM site. In both places, you will also find my second video showing Bella at 8.5-months of NZYMES® use. In this second video, people tend to comment about what appears to be her incredible state of enthusiasm and playful nature – seemingly ‘thrilled’ to have her body back.
This short video here, put together by a dear friend of mine, is quite different and a bit fancier than the original that NZYMES® staff helped me put together (with my chosen music). While the video pretty well tells the story for the most part, I have some additional information below the video.
My Bella, continued…See her after receiving NZYMES® antioxidant support for about 8.5 months.

Tammy!!!! ?? I was super happy to see that the new video was longer than the first one. ? You know what’s my favorite part? When Bandit shakes himself after 2 weeks on Nzymes and stays STANDING!! That is SOOO awesome!! His strength at that point, WOW hey??? ??
Thank you very much for doing this video, I am going to start sharing it everywhere! First rooftop starting here!!! ?
I would LOVE to chat with you?! Can you please send me an email at brenda@nzymes.com ? I also have someone else who’d like to speak with you, so maybe we can figure something out? ?

Oh my gosh Tammy!!! I wish you could have seen my face while I was watching Bandit’s video!! ??? How amazing is that??!! Isn’t it incredible what simply giving ‘life’ to a body can do?? No snake oil theory there with animals! They don’t know they’re getting anything different, but yet their bodies sure do. Wow, I am going to watch that over and over. ?
So many people when watching a video such as that, and seeing the animal not being able to walk, would be all ‘awwww poor thing’. Me? I’m like ‘I know what’s going to happen!!!!!’ ? No pity party there, I have seen so many incredible transformations, and know how crazy GOOD those Nzymes are!! It’s almost unbelievable…but the videos don’t lie do they? Nor do the animals, right before our eyes. ?
It’s when you see things like that, happening to the animal, that makes you wonder…if it can do that for them, what can it do for me? Any living body?
If I could offer one piece of advice? Keep Bandit doubled on the Nzymes. Keep him on the two treats. The more ‘resources’ his body gets, the better he will be. I keep all my paralysis dogs double dosed, and then on Wednesdays and Sundays, I double double dose them. It’s a perfect ‘fit’ for them. I see you have 2 dogs? Have you given Nzymes to the other pup too?
And, may I please share this video? ? I’d love to have your story on this page, and also on my Facebook page (The Winnipeg Disabled Dog Group) Bandit will be a big catalyst for many other dogs with the same condition! ? Thank you SO much for doing the video Tammy. I didn’t want it to be over. And thank you for giving Nzymes a chance.
By the way, what does your vet think? That #4 has now become a 0! ?

Last summer my French bulldog was diagnosed with epilepsy. I was giving him cbd oil plus the prescribed medicine. Two weeks ago i stoped the cbd and started giving him nzymes which a friend recommended. Today my frenchie got diagnosed with stage 3 paralysis. 45% high end he’ll ever walk again. I want some advice, I love this dog but at the same time I’m not droping thousand’ s on a surgery with a low percentage. His only 3 and two days ago he was nuts running laps in my house chasing my kids big ball. Now he can’t even hold him self up.

Hi Trevor,
I’m so sorry to hear about this. But, I truly believe this can be turned around, and he can recover.
Have you seen the paralysis article on this page? I think, this will give you great Hope. Alls he needs is the right ‘tools’ and his body will do the rest. Please take a look at this and if you have any questions, please ask away. I’ll be more than willing to help. ?

My dog is having issues with weakness in back legs and now an front leg injury from slipping. She is very slippery on floors. Started with one a day then increased to two a day last nite and now diarrhea this morning. Shall I stay with once/ day dosing. There have been no other changes. Is there beef in this? I’ve seen her have this diarrhea when she was getting beef broth in her food and then stopped

Hi Meredith!
Are you able to get some carpet runners for the floor so she’s got some stability and then she won’t have the fear to move? I have runners all over my house, it may not look pretty but at least I know all my pups are safe walking, and they all stick to them. Hardily ever do they go on the laminate. Their confidence jumped through the roof, when I started using runners everywhere. There was no more fear, and I felt better to knowing that I was now providing more safety.
As for the diarrhea, my guess it’s probably just a bit of a detox going on. Does her food have any starches in it? Or her snacks/treats? Corn, rice, potato, wheat and tapioca? In the body they are converted to sugar, sugar becomes yeast, which then ‘feeds’ degenerate or auto immune issues. ? With Nzymes, the body is going to be eliminating yeast, free radicals and toxins, which usually shows as the runs especially right at the beginning. So my guess is what you have experienced is as a result of that?
In regards to your question about the beef? The beef is not just flavor it’s actually desiccated liver. It comes from Argentina and is regarded as the cleanest source of beef in the world. The cattle are grass fed.( No hormones, antibiotics etc) So I would guess that this is not what was affecting your girl. ? I think it’s just a detox. And it won’t last long, or it shouldn’t. If it does, then that would tell me that there are starches at play. Because then, it’s going to be a constant ‘battle’ so to speak with the Nzymes and the starches. One going in, and the other trying to push it out.
If you want, we could have a phone chat and go over her diet, and see if we can make changes that will help her body repair and recover itself even quicker? Get rid of the ‘goalies’ if there are any? I’d be more than happy to do that if you’d like. ? I myself am a raw abiding citizen, ? and feed all my animals raw. That’s where my beliefs lie in helping our animals to truly thrive. But, not everyone is comfortable with feeding raw, and I understand that, as that was me too just 6 years ago. And there are some very good kibbles out there too, so there’s great options across the board.
Double dosing, giving two treats a day, is perfect. I’m assuming that is the double dose for her? Please keep her on that. I always recommend to keep any mobility issue animals on a double dose, and especially if they are over the age of seven, which is then considered a senior, we want to give the body more resources. More ‘fuel’. You cannot overdose on the Nzymes since it’s just ‘food’, so don’t be afraid to use it to help her even more. I have 2 dogs right now, one is 11 and one is 13, who are getting 6 teaspoons of the granules in their raw everyday, plus at least 2-4 treats a day. That’s what I have found to be the perfect ‘fit’ for my old boys, to keep them without any problems, no back ends giving out, or trouble getting up. And I’ll bump that up too if I need to as they age more.
Please let me know you have questions, or if you want to have a phone chat, send me an email to brenda@nzymes.com and let’s set up a time that works?!
Thank you for reaching out Meredith! ?
